A Novel High-Isolation Resistor-Less Millimeter-Wave Power Divider Based on Metamaterial Structures for 5G Applications
Research overview
The study uses metamaterial layers to isolate the output ports of a compact power divider for 28–32 GHz 5G systems. The prototype needs no isolation resistor and achieves measured isolation of 43 dB at 30 GHz, improving isolation by more than 36 dB against the reference design.
